More: All Chiefs coaching search updates | 4-3 defense in KC?

This was last night:

And this morning:

This matches up to things we've heard. Reid did a little media tour over the last 24 hours and said he had some coaches in Kansas City that he was talking to.

The KC Star and other Philly outlets reported that Reid has had interest in and talked to Pederson about becoming the offensive coordinator or quarterbacks coach. It appears it will be offensive coordinator. Pederson coached the quarterbacks under Reid in Philadelphia.

Brad Childress was another name that came up in the coordinator search. As of yesterday he was visiting Kansas City, potentially for a role with the Chiefs coaching staff. But the Star reported that he would not be the offensive coordinator. So it's still possible Childress comes in under a different title.

Pat Shurmur was another name that we heard but the Star reported on Wednesday that he would not be the Chiefs next offensive coordinator.

Next up? Defensive coordinator.
