Tony Gonzalez will be getting to Arrowhead Stadium a little early this morning. There are usually multiple buses that take the players and staff to a visiting team's stadium from their hotel and TG will be on the first one out to Arrowhead, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He plans to leave for Arrowhead Stadium on the early bus Sunday, one that's usually reserved for rookies, younger players and staffers.

Gonzalez wants to make sure that he has enough time to say hello to everyone and still have enough time to go through his pregame rituals before facing the Chiefs at 1 p.m. in the season opener.

Maybe he's getting there early for some tailgating?

I'd guess TG has a lot of people to talk to. The staff has changed quite a bit in the time he's been gone but there are still folks there he'll remember. i'll be getting there early to see who he's talking to on the field during pregame warmups.
