Falcons Vs. Chiefs: Julio Jones, Roddy White And Then What?

Presswire
You look at the Atlanta Falcons and one of the things you notice is Roddy White and Julio Jones. They look like they're set at receiver, but we're not experts on the Falcons. Those who are say the Falcons have two solid starters but not much behind that.

I asked SB Nation Atlanta to tell us something about the Falcons offense we don't know and they said:
You all know about Roddy and Julio, I'm sure. But behind those two, the Falcons are dangerously thin at receiver. They just cut Tim Toone, leaving only four wideouts on the roster. Third-stringer Harry Douglas is a capable reciever, but nothing spectacular and definitely not starting material. Fourth-stringer Kevin Cone is a UDFA used almost exclusively on special teams. I shudder to even think about either of our top two men getting injured this week.
Well good because the Chiefs are dangerously thin at cornerback right now. Brandon Flowers' status is in question, as is Jalil Brown's. The Chiefs will have Stanford Routt on Julio Jones and Brandon Flowers on Roddy White, if Flowers plays.

The Falcons receivers still worry me, depth or not, especially with Flowers' situation.

SB Nation Atlanta has a ton of Falcons-Chiefs stories here.
