It's only fitting that literally a minute after I post "Chiefs First Injury Report Coming Soon" that the injury report is released.

It's here and we're ready to soak it all up. Via Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com, the Chiefs injury report is as follows:

Did not practice: Anthony Toribio, Allen Bailey, Kendrick Lewis

Limited practice: Derrick Johnson, Brandon Flowers and Jalil Brown

The headliner in there is that DJ and Flowers were both limited, which suggests it's still possible they play on Sunday. This is good news because "limited" was the best we hoped for each of them. DJ has the ankle injury and Flowers has the heel problem.

On the topic of those two players, the KC Star's Adam Teicher had some good news from today's practice:

As Teicher later notes, the issue with Flowers is two-fold. One, can he play at all? Two, how effective can he be with a month off? Another issue is that the guy who would replace Flowers is Brown. And Brown is also on the injury report. So there are a lot of moving parts to keep an eye on this week.
