The Kansas City Chiefs injury report has been released for San Diego Chargers week and it reads about as we expected. Kevin Boss will not play and Peyton Hillis is unlikely to. Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, Glenn Dorsey and Dexter McCluster are all out.
Here's the whole thing:
Out: Kevin Boss
Not a surprise. He didn't practice last week or this week. Tony Moeaki and Steve Maneri will see more snaps at tight end this week.
Doubtful: Peyton Hillis
Again, not a surprise. He didn't practice all week either. Practice is a pretty good indication of where a player stands injury-wise. Unless it's the ambiguous...
Questionable: Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, Glenn Dorsey, Kendrick Lewis, Dexter McCluster, Anthony Toribio, Devon Wylie
So, pretty much no idea on any of these guys. Bowe was limited on Thursday and Friday. Same with Dorsey. McCluster seems like he has a shot.
Probable: Ryan Lilja, Jake O'Connell
Good news on Lilja. He'll be the starting center. Jeff Allen will be at guard. And the two new Chiefs -- Russ Hochstein and Bryan Mattison -- will be reserves.
