In news that was missed over the weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs worked out a few defensive backs last week.
As noted previously, the Chiefs worked out CBs Darius Butler and Frank Walker late last week. S Derrick Martin did as well.

Interesting. The Chiefs have seen a number of injuries in the secondary -- to Brandon Flowers early in the season to Kendrick Lewis to Jacques Reeves recently. It makes sense that they would keep tabs on available defensive backs.
Butler is the big name there you'd recognize. He was a 2009 second round pick by the New England Patriots, who cut him days before the start of the 2011 season. Butler was claimed by the Carolina Panthers where he remained for the rest of last season.
The Chiefs are getting healthier in the secondary so these guys may not be necessary, but if an injury pops up they'll have their number available.
