Through two games Dwayne Bowe looks like the same old Dwayne Bowe.
I predicted before the season that Bowe would have a slow start for the KC Chiefs due to missing the offseason and training camp. But in two games he has 11 receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
"He's made good progress since he's come on board," Romeo Crennel said of Bowe, via comments sent out by the Chiefs. "I think he's our leading receiver after two games and has been productive. So I expect him to continue to improve and get better as he goes along."
Some of Bowe's yards and that touchdown were in garbage time last week -- I could do without the pointing at the name on the jersey when you're getting beat bad, by the way -- but overall Bowe seems to be the same Bowe. He's in shape, making catches and continues to be the Chiefs best receiver.
So that's, what, like the 50th preseason prediction I got wrong?
