Just when it seemed like the Kansas City Chiefs might begin to turn the corner on injuries, Adam Teicher reports the news that no one wants to hear. The Chiefs have 10 players -- yes, 10 -- on the latest injury report and it's another point of frustration in a season that no one can be pleased with so far.
So just who is involved? The complete list reads as follows: Allen Bailey, Kevin Boss, Steve Breaston, Jalil Brown, Kendrick Lewis, Ryan Lilja, Dexter McCluster, Jake O'Connell, Anthony Toribio and Devon Wylie.
While some of those are expected, some of these are newer names on the list. Allen Bailey, Kendrick Lewis Anthony Toribio and Jalil Brown have all been injured in recent weeks and limited in practice, Dexter McCluster, Steve Breaston and Ryan Lilja are brand new listings. Kevin Boss was expected given the injury sustained against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday
Head coach Romeo Crennel said the team will not practice in pads today due to the number of injuries.
One bit of positive news was reported today that Jamaal Charles and Javier Arenas are doing fine and will practice today.
