Jarrett is a safety from Temple. He was a 2011 second round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, who released him last week.
That the Eagles gave up on him is not a good sign. It's definitely concerning. But he's young enough that you'd think there's still some potential there. The Chiefs are currently dealing with an injury to Kendrick Lewis in the secondary.
The Chiefs didn't end up signing him late last week. We'll keep an eye out to see if KC brings him in this week.
