Not only did his team lose 40-24 last week but KC Chiefs running back Shaun Draughn was fined $7,875 by the NFL but not for the fight he was involved in. Draughn was fined because of a fourth quarter facemask violation.
The league says Draughn was fined for unnecessary roughness on a run play, which is this one right here:
Draughn was flagged on the play -- 15-yard penalty. He was also hit with a 15-yard penalty seven plays earlier when the Chiefs fielded the punt from the Falcons. You can read about that fight here but Draughn threw a better punch in the photo above than his performance in the fight.
Speaking of the fight...Chris Hope was the one credited with the 15-yard penalty but I think it was Christopher Owens who was actually the one meant to be penalized. Whichever one it is, neither of them were fined in the fight.
