Brandon Flowers Is Medically Cleared To Play

After going through a full practice for the first time in 44 days, Kansas City Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers appears ready to play in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Romeo Crennel didn't confirm that in a Friday press conference but he did say that, medically, Flowers is cleared to play.

"The doctors have told him that he can play if he felt good about it," Crennel said on Friday.

Crennel indicated that Flowers wasn't 100 percent, which you'd expect considering how long he's been out.

"I think that you have to kind of temper it and know that conditioning will be a factor, and if the guy is able to play, you may have to monitor his reps," Crennel said, via comments sent out by the Chiefs. "Then, some of that will depend on how the game goes. Probably asking him to play 100 plays would not be the thing to do, but if you can mix in here and there and give him a break now and then, then maybe he can get through a game."

So it sure sounds like Flowers is going to give it a go this weekend.
