The Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday and for the first time since July 31 Brandon Flowers practiced in full. Flowers initially hurt his heel six weeks ago and finally, finally, finally practiced in full for the first time today for the first time in 44 days.
But who's counting?
This is a very strong sign that Flowers will be ready when the Chiefs go on the road to face the Buffalo Bills this weekend. This is a good day.
In more cornerback news, Jalil Brown was a full participant in practice, which is a step forward from his limited status yesterday.
The other three, Allen Bailey, Kendrick Lewis and Anthony Toribio were limited for the second consecutive day. Adam Teicher recently wrote that Lewis and Toribio are unlikely to play in this game. Further, Lewis may not be ready until after the Chiefs bye week.
For the second day in a row, Devon Wylie missed practice with a hamstring injury.
There's still too many names on the injury report -- a lot more than the Todd Haley days -- but Flowers practicing in full is good news.
