The Kansas City Chiefs practice squad is in. The Chiefs confirmed they've added the following players to the practice squad: Josh Bellamy, Patrick Dimarco, Junior Hemingway, Jerome Long, David Mims, Jamar Newsome, Luke Patterson, Neiko Thorpe.

None of these moves are a surprise. We reported DiMarco was coming back, and also predicted Hemingway, Long, Bellamy, Mims and Patterson so we got six of the eight correct. Thorpe and Newsome were the two we got wrong.

Mims, Patterson and Newsome were all on the Chiefs practice squad at some point last year.

That these players made it to the practice squad means they all cleared waivers -- in other words, every team in the league had an opportunity to claim them but didn't. Teams would have had to place those players on the active roster, though.

Here are my practice squad predictions from last night: Brandon Bair, Josh Bellamy, Patrick DiMarco, Junior Hemingway, Jerome Long, Gabe Miller, David Mims and Lucas Patterson.

Post yours in the comments and let us know how many you got right.
