Somebody is getting the word out that Dwayne Bowe won't be missing any regular season games for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last month, ESPN's Adam Schefter said his best guess is that Bowe would show up in early September, about a week before the regular season starts.
Last week, after his visit to KC Chiefs training camp in St. Joe, Missouri, Jim Trotter of SI.com reported that Bowe is not expected to miss any regular season games.
And today Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk joins the fun.
Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe is the last unsigned franchise player. In theory, he can stay away until the Tuesday after Week 10.
But he most likely won't.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Bowe plans to show before the regular season begins.
I hope Bowe really plans to show up before Week 1. You know, not like training camp.
I'm just hoping the D-Bowe Show lives on whenever he decides to return. Showing up a week before the first game seems like a roundabout way to maximize his potential.
