Last week, 96% of you gave the Kansas City Chiefs either an A grade or a B grade for their performance against the Arizona Cardinals. A fast start to the game and an eventual 27-17 win had a lot to do with that.
I don't expect the same high percentage of As and Bs today. The Rams essentially looked like the Chiefs of last week - started strong, played good defense and forced turnovers. That's why they won 31-17.
Considering I gave the Chiefs a B+ last week for their pretty impressive opening, I don't see how I can give anything higher than a C to this week's performance. Forget about the final score. I'm not really concerned with that. Four turnovers and a much more lax defense is why KC is not getting a B grade this week.
Another reason the Chiefs are getting a C grade this week: the fact that KC's starters played the entire first half, much of it against the Rams' second string defense and offense.
We'll be analyzing this game in more detail in subsequent posts. For now, give us your overall team grade for the Chiefs against the Rams by voting in the poll below.
