I'm not sure this needs to be said but some have asked about it.
Dwayne Bowe will not be playing tonight for the KC Chiefs. Given that he signed yesterday and it's only the preseason, you probably could've guessed as much.
Bowe will be subject to the three-day acclimation period which means he won't be wearing pads until early next week, at the earliest. That means he could potentially get in three days of practice before the Chiefs host the Seattle Seahawks next Friday. So the real question is whether he'll be available for that game, which nobody can answer until he gets onto the practice field and the coaching staff can see where he's at.
There's a whole new offense to learn and the Chiefs don't want to send someone as important as Bowe out there if he doesn't know what he's doing. That's why I don't think it's necessarily a given that he'll be available next week against the Seahawks.
It's unclear if Bowe traveled to St. Louis with the team or whether he'll be in attendance tonight. Here's to hoping he is and the Chiefs TV broadcast gets a shot of him.
