So all of our talk this offseason wondering if Dexter McCluster would even make the Kansas City Chiefs roster...seems a little silly now, doesn't it? McCluster has had a solid camp and I feel a lot better about him contributing to the team than I did a few months ago. (We call that "It's June and there's nothing else to talk about.")

When I was at the 610 Sports studio earlier today, Danny Parkins played a clip of Carrington Harrison's interview with Kendrick Lewis, who singled out Dexter McCluster as a guy who he likes going up against in training camp because McCluster tests him.

In another Carrington Harrison interview they played shortly after I left, Eric Berry said similar things.

Asked who he likes going up against in camp, Berry said, "Everybody but me and Dexter McCluster go at it every day and I feel like he's been taking my game to the next level just because I know he's going to bring it every time. He's not going to take it easy on my and I'm not going to take it easy on him so we just try to bring the best out of each other."

With his size and speed, McCluster isn't exactly the easiest guy to cover so I can imagine he would test the defensive backs. Consider me anxious to see how McCluster does this weekend against the Rams. Through one game, he's looking sharp.
