Romeo Crennel warned earlier this week not to look too much into the Kansas City Chiefs depth chart, which remained the same for the second consecutive week. Well, we're a Chiefs blog with nothing to do but blog about the Chiefs all day so of course we looked way too far into it.

One of those depth chart decisions could be determined today.

Crennel was asked yesterday whether it'd be Brady Quinn or Ricky Stanzi coming in as the No. 2 quarterback on Saturday against the Rams and he said he didn't know yet. "We'll look at practice today and if you ask me that question tomorrow I'll be able to let you know," Crennel said.

So we should be hearing the decision today. It's just the rotation for one game, and things can continue to change, but this is still one of the notable position battles remaining.

I really have no idea which way the Chiefs will go with this one. The depth chart, which is the exact same as it was last week, has Quinn as the No. 2 and Stanzi as the No. 3. I go back and forth seemingly every other day on which one of these guys will ultimately win the backup job. This week, I'm saying it's Quinn, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Crennel give Stanzi a chance with the second team.
