Over the weekend, KMBC.com published a report that Dwayne Bowe had "reached an agreement" with the Kansas City Chiefs, which seemed like a big deal. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear it's accurate.
Despite KMBC continuing to run with the report that Bowe will be ending his holdout, Bowe was not at the Chiefs Monday walk through.
If you missed all the Bowe hoopla over the weekend, catch up on everything here. In short, Bowe was spotted in KC on the afternoon of the game against the Arizona Cardinals. KMBC reported that he reached a deal with the Chiefs. Others refuted their report, including those from the Chiefs.
Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel has since said he doesn't have any updates on the Bowe situation. GM Scott Pioli was interviewed by NBC Action News on Monday morning and reportedly said the same thing.
So, to answer the number of folks who have asked me this ... no,there is not a deal with Bowe.
But there will be...at some point.
