This morning we pointed out six Kansas City Chiefs players who may not play tonight against the Arizona Cardinals. In the end, five of them won't be playing.
Josh Looney of the Chiefs official site reports the following players have been scratched: CB Brandon Flowers, DB Travis Daniels, FB Shane Bannon, DL Ethan Johnson and WR Junior Hemingway.
Not included in that list is S De'Quan Menzie. He could still play, despite leaving practice with an apparent injury earlier this week.
Flowers is the most recognizable name on that list and it's a little disappointing we won't see him line up against Larry Fitzgerald tonight. But we may end up seeing more of Jalil Brown, who has had a solid camp. Daniels is also a notable scratch considering he's been seeing time at safety, and not cornerback, this offseason.
Just over an hour to game time....
