Chiefs Keeping Arrowhead Open For MLB All-Star Game

New, comments

The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to take advantage of the thousands of fans that will be coming to Kansas City later this week for the MLB All-Star Game, which is being played across the way at Kauffman Stadium. The Chiefs sent out a note on their website that Arrowhead Stadium will be hosting tours this weekend.

The available tour dates are below:

  • Sunday, July 8 at 10am, 11am, 12:30pm, 1:45pm and 3pm
  • Monday, July 9 at 11am, 12:15am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm and 4pm
  • Tuesday, July 10 at 11am, 12:15am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm and 4pm

The price is $12 per adult (all prices are listed here).

The funniest line is this: "You will be given a behind-the-scenes look into the Chiefs Hall of Honor presented by Time Warner Cable, The Sports Lab Powered by Blue KC, Club IV, and more including the ability to throw a football near the field!"

Only "near" the field?

Has anyone done one of these tours? It looks pretty cool.
