The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to take advantage of the thousands of fans that will be coming to Kansas City later this week for the MLB All-Star Game, which is being played across the way at Kauffman Stadium. The Chiefs sent out a note on their website that Arrowhead Stadium will be hosting tours this weekend.
The available tour dates are below:
- Sunday, July 8 at 10am, 11am, 12:30pm, 1:45pm and 3pm
- Monday, July 9 at 11am, 12:15am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm and 4pm
- Tuesday, July 10 at 11am, 12:15am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm and 4pm
The price is $12 per adult (all prices are listed here).
The funniest line is this: "You will be given a behind-the-scenes look into the Chiefs Hall of Honor presented by Time Warner Cable, The Sports Lab Powered by Blue KC, Club IV, and more including the ability to throw a football near the field!"
Only "near" the field?
Has anyone done one of these tours? It looks pretty cool.
