Just wanted to quote myself from a few days ago:
Prediction: Baldwin has one of the best camps of any player on the team this year.
After four days, I could've made a worse guess. Baldwin's been having a very good start to KC Chiefs training camp by a lot of accounts. He looks like he's in shape, he plays his size (which is very large) in practice and in general seems to be on the right road. Things are looking up for him.

Pioli said in an interview with 810 WHB's Steven St. John yesterday that Baldwin has a "different level of comfort" in KC after some "background noise" last year.

"I don't know if he's a totally different guy. When we selected him last year there was some background noise and some situations he was in. We went after him and studied him thoroughly in the background.

"I think he has matured mentally, physically and emotionally. He's has a different level of comfort here. He's a player we felt confident not only when we took him but we feel confident now. One of the unfortunate things for the draft picks last year when we picked them, they showed up when we started in late July or August, we were up and running. There was no time to cultivate these players.

"As you said, he looks like a completely different person. He came in, he's in tremendous shape. He and Matt [Cassel] have spent a lot of time together and he has spent a lot of time preparing and training for this."

Baldwin backed up all that praise at Monday's practice. See below what people said about his day yesterday.
