The Kansas City Chiefs mandatory minicamp is coming up tomorrow. From Tuesday to Thursday of this week, the Chiefs will host a minicamp in which we very well could see 100 percent participation, as we've seen for much of the offseason program to this point.
Teams can have 10 sets of OTAs and two minicamps -- one for rookies (which the Chiefs already did back in May) and one mandatory for everyone. The latter comes on Tuesday.
Here's what the Chiefs have gone through this week:
OTAs: May 21-22, May 24, May 29, May 31-June 1, June 4-5, June 7-8
Minicamp: May 11-13 (rookies), June 12-14
Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel will speak every day during this final minicamp, as will various Chiefs players.
From there, it's going to hit the worst part of the offseason. Just the worst. From mid-June when the weekly OTAs and minicamps are done to late July when training camp starts is going to be painful.
