Chiefs Draft Pick Appears To Be Injured

The last time the media saw the Kansas City Chiefs practice came on Monday, the start of Organized Team Activities (OTAs), and rookie offensive lineman Jeff Allen was participating in practice.

Now that we catch up with the Chiefs again today, Allen is not practicing. 610 Sports reports Allen is sitting out of practice today and is in a walking boot.

A walking boot can mean a lot of different things and it may not be a serious injury. It could be as something as simple as a sprain or perhaps something more serious. The Chiefs aren't required to release injury information in the offseason so it may be a while before we figure out what's going on.

The only other draft pick to miss a practice due to injury is safety De'Quan Menzie.

No word on the other injured Chiefs, including Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki and Kendrick Lewis.
