Chiefs And Royals Team Up For Operation Blessing Food Distribution

For the tenth consecutive year, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals are both teaming up to help with food distribution to those in need through Operation Blessing. You can help out this Saturday morning (May 19) by joining the teams at the OB distribution site (1152 E. 30th Street - Corner of 30th and Troost).

Several players for the Chiefs will be there from 11am to 12pm along with various Chiefs staff and KC Wolf. Several Royals players will also be present. Some more details from the team's release:

In an effort to positively impact those in need in the Kansas City community, the Chiefs have been involved with Operation Blessing since 2002. Working alongside the Kansas City Royals, the two professional sports franchises have provided food to 27,000 local families in the previous nine Operation Blessing distributions. Operation Blessing was founded in 1978 as a humanitarian, non-profit relief organization, which donates produce, canned goods, building supplies and disaster relief to natural disaster victims and families in need all around the world.

If you have time on Saturday and want to help a great cause, come join the Chiefs and Royals to offer a hand.
