And then there was one.
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed third round pick Donald Stephenson to a four-year contract, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com. This marks the seventh of the Chiefs eight draft picks that have agreed to terms. The Chiefs haven't yet officially announced the move.
The one remaining unsigned player is first round pick Dontari Poe.
A handful of teams have signed all of their draft picks, which is a huge change from years past. The rookie wage scale takes out all the drama of the draft pick signings.
Stephenson is expected to be the Chiefs swing tackle entering the 2012 season. His role could potentially change in 2013 and beyond depending on the future of Branden Albert, who is entering the final year of his contract.
I would guess that Poe's contract should be coming soon.
