The Kansas City Chiefs announced at the tail end of last week that they signed half their draft class, four of eight picks from the 2012 NFL Draft.
According to a report, you can now make that five -- second round pick Jeff Allen has agreed to a deal.
The Chiefs haven't announced it yet so it's not official but these rookie contracts seem like a breeze compared to past years. There aren't really any worries about signing the draft picks.
The draft picks already signed include fourth round pick Devon Wylie, sixth round pick Cyrus Gray and seventh round picks Jerome Long and Junior Hemingway. Those are all four-year deals.
Depending on the future of guard Ryan Lilja, Allen could go the way of Jon Asamoah and Rodney Hudson and sit on the bench for a year before taking over the starting job.
