Representing the St. Louis Rams, freezy1 with the 33rd pick in Arrowhead Pride's 2012 NFL mock draft...
I am going with Ohio State OT Mike Adams.
I really struggled between him and Lavonte David, because both the OL and LB group were poor for the Rams in 2011. But they need to keep Sam Bradford upright so he can play with his new toy in Justin Blackmon. With the signing of Scott Wells it looks like they are committed to doing that.
If OT Rodger Saffold can return to 2010 form when he looked like a bookend LT, Adams can move into the RT position where he won't have the pressure of protecting a franchise QB's blindside as a rookie.
I don't think his 5 game suspension for selling memorabilia in college is anything to worry about for character issues, because what did he really do that was morally wrong? He did have a 2 game suspension for violation of team rules early in his career but that's nothing to worry about either. His health in 2010 and 2011 was good, so I think he has put any injury-prone worries from 2008 and 2009 behind him.
Previously (with approval results)...
9. Carolina Panthers - South Carolina LB/DE Melvin Ingram (Forgot to do a poll)
33. St. Louis Rams - Ohio State OT Mike Adams
