The Kansas City Chiefs scouts and coaches continue on with their tour of pro days across the country. There are a few big pro days today, including Arkansas and Auburn, which I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chiefs attend. Another one is Illinois and the picture below appears to show someone wearing KC Chiefs gear:
Subsequent reports have indicated the Chiefs are indeed present at Illinois' pro day. Jeremy Werner of OrangeAndBlueNews.com, a Rivals site, reports there are 29 teams in attendance, including multiple representatives from the Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts.
There are over a dozen Illinois players at the pro day but not all will work out. Some will stand by their Combine numbers. One of the big name guys is Whitney Mercilus, who had a terrific 2011 season, and could be a first round pick.
Illini fans, tell us who the Chiefs should be looking at.
