2012 NFL Draft: Chiefs Visiting With A Cornerback

I've been out of commission all weekend with a minor blogging injury so this news is a little bit of old cheese but whatever. The Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting Montana CB Trumaine Johnson for a visit before the 2012 NFL draft next month, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com.

Montana isn't exactly an NFL breeding ground but Johnson is an All-American with some solid skills. He's listed at 6'2" and 204 pounds, which is big for a corner. He went to Montana as a receiver originally (and played quarterback in high school).

He's very athletic but doesn't have top-flight speed running the 40-yard dash in just (just?) 4.5-4.6 seconds. He had some eligibility issues and other off-the-field concerns in the past.

He's also scheduled to visit Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons.
