Seems like most people are describing the offense of Brian Daboll, the KC Chiefs new offensive coordinator, as something fun and exciting. Tricky plays, unique formations and things like that are what people talk about with him.
Brady Quinn, the newest Chiefs QB who was with Daboll in Cleveland, talked with Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com and said the same thing.
"He's fun," Quinn said. "He'll definitely mix things up. He runs a lot of fun plays. His offense is great. It's fun to watch. We're going to be putting points on the board. Heck, I've run a touchdown in, caught a pass with him. He'll definitely mix some things up and he'll be fun to watch."
All I really care about is whether the offense can score points. If that comes off of Matt Cassel running a deep wheel route, fine by me. Just as long as it puts points on the board.
The Chiefs have a lot of talent on offense, we know that and we talk about it all the time. But the results simply weren't there last year. It's time to start walking the walk with the offensive additions.
