The AFC West Favorite, Post-Peyton Manning

When the Kansas City Chiefs were among the teams interested in Peyton Manning, we argued that the Chiefs would instantly become the favorite in the AFC West. And now that Manning is coming to the AFC West, but not to Kansas City, I still think the Chiefs have a legit shot to win the division.

Obviously, their chances probably would've been better with a healthy Peyton Manning on the roster but whatever. He went the route of John Elway so Manning is back in our bad graces. Couldn't stand rootin' for him anyway after he gave the Chiefs a pair of January playoff losses.

With the dust starting to settle on the Manning stuff, I thought it was time to take the pulse of everyone around here on the AFC West in 2012.

Can the Chiefs do it?
