Latest Updates On Kansas City Chiefs Free Agents

Time for another roundup of the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. I've gone through the list of the Chiefs free agents and sorted the group into players who have re-signed with the Chiefs, players who signed elsewhere, players drawing interest in free agency and then those players who don't have any news.

The latest update on the Chiefs free agents...

Re-Signed

LB Jovan Belcher (RFA): One-year, $1.972 million. Staying in KC. He's a Chief.

Other Free Agents Signed

RB Peyton Hillis: One-year, $3 million deal.

Signed Elsewhere

CB Brandon Carr: $50.1 million from the Dallas Cowboys. Crazy amount but he deserves it.

FB Le'Ron McClain: Signed a three-year deal with the Chargers so he's staying in the AFC West.

QB Kyle Orton: He signed with the Cowboys on a three-year deal.

Drawing Interest In Free Agency

RB Jackie Battle: He's going to test free agency and reportedly has three teams interested. The Peyton Hillis signing may play a role in him not coming back. We'll see.

WR Jerheme Urban: He's drawing interest from the Cowboys, according to a report.

Nothing New

QB Tyler Palko (ERFA): Nothing new. He probably won't be coming back to the Chiefs. I wonder if he catches on anywhere for training camp.

S Reshard Langford (ERFA): Nothing new on him, either. I think he has a better shot of returning than Palko.

TE Anthony Becht: Nothing new. Probably won't be for a while, either.

DB Travis Daniels: He said on Twitter he wants to remain and has been retweeting people asking him to come back to KC.

S Sabby Piscitelli: Zilch.

TE Leonard Pope: Nothing.

OT Barry Richardson: Nothing here either.

DE Wallace Gilberry: Nothing on him, which is a little bit of a surprise. I thought Gilberry would get some attention in free agency.

DL Kelly Gregg: Nothing new. Retirement still seems the most likely.

RB Thomas Jones: Nothing new here either .

S Jon McGraw: Nothing new.

OT Ryan O'Callaghan: Nothing new. Still retirement rumors out there.

C Casey Wiegmann: To retire or not to retire, that is the question.
