Mike Tolbert's Visit With The Chiefs Is Still On

When the Kansas City Chiefs signed RB Peyton Hillis I was wondering if that meant the end of Mike Tolbert visiting Kansas City.

Apparently not. ESPN's BIll Williamson cites Tolbert's agent who says the visit to KC is still on.

Williamson says he can see how the Chiefs would want both backs but I don't agree with that. I think the strategy is to sign one or the other, not both. I don't want the Chiefs to do anything that results in Jamaal Charles touching the ball less. There are only so many carries to go around so I like having the extra running back, just not two of them.

I probably would've picked Tolbert but there's something to be said about a guy like Hillis is playing for the best motivator, which is dollar dollar bills, ya'll.

We'll see how this one plays out. I can remember a time when Stanford Routt's signing didn't signal the end of Brandon Carr in KC and...well, you know now.
