An update on one of the top offensive tackles on the market...
RT Eric Winston's visit with the Kansas City Chiefs will come tomorrow as expected, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com. He visited the Miami Dolphins this week after the Houston Texans cut him.
He's also reportedly has visits scheduled with the St. Louis Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions.
He had ankle surgery a few weeks ago so the Texans actually designated him as failed physical but he's expected to be healthy in a couple of weeks. That he's not completely healthy right now makes me wonder if he'll be taking his time to sign.
To me, this should be the Chiefs big splash in free agency. It would address a big time need with a very good player. Make this one happen.
