Brandon Carr Leaving Dallas Without A Contract

Interesting.

Nick Wright of 610 Sports is reporting via Twitter that Brandon Carr tells him he is leaving Dallas without a contract from the Cowboys. Reports out of Dallas (and NFL Network) had this sounding like it was probably going to get done, talking to the agent and everything.

Maybe, maybe not. Wright said on the air that this doesn't mean he won't eventually sign with Dallas.

So...where's he going now? The 49ers were said to have interest, and I'm sure other teams will as well, if he's even going on any other visits.

It's seemed like such a foregone conclusion that Carr would leave KC that I don't even know if it's possible for him to return to the Chiefs. Both sides have said publicly they want it to happen, though.
