John Carlson Gets $25 Million From Vikings

The Kansas City Chiefs brought TE John Carlson in for a visit and it wasn't too much longer before reports came out indicating he was also visiting the Minnesota Vikings.

Actually, he's signing with the Vikings. Per several reports, it's a five-year deal worth $25 million with $11 million guaranteed.

Eh, I'm not so sure I'd be as interested in Carlson at that price. I mean, I'd like to have a second tight end like him but is it worth a $25 million deal? I'm not sure that it is.

Carlson was one of four known free agent visits the Chiefs had set up with the others being Peyton Hillis, Mike Tolbert and Eric Winston.
