Free Agent Paul Soliai Has A Broncos Visit Planned

The Denver Broncos may end up taking two players I wanted the Kansas City Chiefs to sign. First, the Broncos are in the mix for Peyton Manning and now NFL Network reports the Broncos are hosting free agent NT Paul Soliai for a visit. The Miami Dolphins are also hoping to retain him.

[Update: Denver Post disputes report Soliai has a visit planned to Denver.]

Soliai is one of the top nose tackles available on the open market and someone I thought the Chiefs would pursue. Previous reports indicated the Chiefs had some interest in him. Kent Babb of the KC Star reports via Twitter that Soliai's visit to Denver doesn't necessarily mean the Chiefs are out of it. Yet.

Soliai landing in Denver would be a tough blow to take, especially if they get Manning, too. Not only would the Chiefs lose out on a couple of good players, but they'd be making the Chiefs division rivals better (or at least we think).

I'm hoping Soliai doesn't land in Denver.
