Prior to the start of the 2012 NFL free agency period we went through all the Kansas City Chiefs free agents to see what the team should do with each player. Now that we've seen nearly 24 hours of free agency, it's time for another go-round of the Chiefs free agents.
Here's a list of all the Chiefs free agents with any relevant news attached to them.
Exclusive Rights Free Agents
QB Tyler Palko (ERFA): He was not offered a tender. I doubt he comes back to KC but I am curious if he lands anywhere else.
S Reshard Langford (ERFA): Also not tendered, which was a bit of a surprise. I figured the Chiefs would. He could still come back, though.
Restricted Free Agents
LB Jovan Belcher (RFA): He's a Chief. KC gave him a second round tender and he should be safe at that level. He'll be back in KC.

Unrestricted Free Agents
RB Jackie Battle: He's going to test free agency but that's about all we know. No news of Battle came through the wire yesterday. With the Chiefs showing interest in multiple big running backs, you gotta think Battle isn't coming back. We'll see.
TE Anthony Becht: Nothing on him either. I doubt he signs anywhere, if he signs at all, until later this summer.
CB Brandon Carr: He's visiting the Cowboys and the 49ers are said to have interest as well. Cortland Finnegan has already signed so Carr is the top cornerback on the market. I think he gets big money. Here's our poll on how much Carr can land.
DB Travis Daniels: He indicated on Twitter he'd like to be back. No news on him either.
DE Wallace Gilberry: Yesterday Gilberry tweeted: "It was fun while it lasted." Sounds like he's gone. There wasn't any news on him yesterday, either.
DL Kelly Gregg: No updates but it still sounds like he's going to retire.
RB Thomas Jones: Zero on Jones, either. I wonder whether he finds a job at all. Might not be til later in the summer.
FB Le'Ron McClain: Nothing going on here either. Hard to see him coming back for much more than what he was paid last year.
S Jon McGraw: Probably be a while before we hear anything on him.
OT Ryan O'Callaghan: Retirement rumors are out there. Nothing new on this, though.
QB Kyle Orton: He's visiting the Dallas Cowboys and it sounds like the Cowboys wanna get something done. They issued a claim on him last year when the Denver Broncos waived him. Dallas makes sense but he'd be a backup. In KC, we think he'd have a chance at the starting job.
S Sabby Piscitelli: Zilch.
TE Leonard Pope: Nothing.
OT Barry Richardson: Nothing here either.
WR Jerheme Urban: I don't think he returns to the Chiefs.
C Casey Wiegmann: Arrowhead Addict reported he will retire, which is what most people are thinking. We shall see.
