It sure sounds like the Cowboys aren't going to let CB Brandon Carr leave Dallas. NFL Network's Michael Lombardi wrote on Twitter that Carr to Dallas "will get done" at some point. The San Francisco 49ers are the other team reported to have an interest in the former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback.
Lombardi is floating the $7 million per year number as a possibility for Carr but, honestly, I'd be very surprised if those were the final numbers. I think he'd be playing for the Chiefs if that were his price tag. 73 percent of voters in our poll last night said he would get $9 million per year or more.
CB Cortland Finnegan agreed to a reported $50 million from the St. Louis Rams on Tuesday which means Carr is the best available cornerback on the market.
The Cowboys made a run at Nnamdi Asomugha last year and failed. I don't think they'll be failing with Carr.
