Free Agent Mike Tolbert Has At Least Five Teams Interested

The San Diego Chargers allowed running back Mike Tolbert to hit free agency and shortly after the start of the NFL's signing period it was reported by the KC Star that the Kansas City Chiefs are setting up a visit with Tolbert.

It sounds like the Chiefs aren't the only ones who are interested. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that at least five teams are in on Tolbert.

But this is a little interesting: Acee also tweeted that a "person I trust predicts Tolbert ends up a Chief."

Just a guess, but one that will make Chiefs fans happy.

In a Sirius XM NFL Radio interview last week, Tolbert named the following teams as ones that are good fits including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins and, of course, the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are also expected to visit with Peyton Hillis. No word yet on where KC stands on BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who has several suitors in free agency.
