So wow, 4 p.m. ET hits and we have a big, big trade. The Miami Dolphins have traded WR Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears for two third round draft picks, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
He is reunited with Bears QB Jay Cutler, who was Marshall's teammate in Denver from 2006 to 2008.
Before the 2010 NFL draft, Marshall was traded from Denver to Miami for two second round picks.
So this is a bit odd. The Miami Dolphins are reportedly in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, along with Denver and Arizona. It doesn't appear on the surface to make sense to trade your best wide receiver while courting a veteran quarterback.
What are the Dolphins thinking?
