It was initially believed that Peyton Manning wanted to make his free agent decision sometime before the start of the actual free agency period at 3:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on Tuesday.
That may no longer be the case. ESPN reports that Manning is unlikely to make his final decision by Tuesday afternoon, which is only about 36 hours away from right now.
This makes sense, if you're looking at it realistically. Manning has made two visits at this point and his agent, Tom Condon, wasn't on either visit. Manning didn't talk contract with the teams which means there's still some negotiating to do whenever he picks his team. This is going to be a huge contract so that's no simple task.
So we'll have Manning picking his team at some point and then free agency starts tomorrow. Are you sure you wanna go into work tomorrow?
