Peyton Manning isn't the only free agent that was once among the elite at his position.
Randy Moss, who didn't play last season after retiring, previously announced he plans to return to the NFL.
He already had a visit with the Saints last week, which reportedly went really well. (So well, in fact, that the Saints didn't sign him.) Reports from that workout say that, physically, Moss might be able to do this comeback.
He's now visiting the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN. This could be a really good fit. The 49ers had one of the worst receiver groups in the league last season and Moss instantly gives them another weapon, especially if Moss hasn't lost his speed. They're a solid team already with a good defense so this seems like a decent fit.
Where do you think Moss ends up? San Francisco and New Orleans are the only known visits at this point.
