Who Will Save Kansas City From Misery?

According to one of Forbes' link-baiting lists, Kansas City comes in as the No. 9 most miserable sports city. Atlanta comes in first and San Diego, home of your those Chargers, comes in fifth.

The numbers on KC:

Teams: Royals, Athletics, Chiefs, Kings, Scouts
Championship Round Record: 2-2
Semifinal Round Record: 4-6
Total Seasons/Championships: 120/2
Last title: 1985. The Royals lost in the ALCS or World Series five times between 1976 and 1984, before breaking through with a championship in 1985.

KC was ranked No. 8 in 2010 and I can't find 2011. So this is progress, I guess.

It's about time someone changes that. Will it be the Royals or the Chiefs? I'll include Sporting KC even though Forbes doesn't.
