Wake Up Early Tomorrow To Find Out The Chiefs Final Draft Position

We mentioned this last week but the 2012 NFL draft order is not quite final. There are two coin flips that will take place to determine the final few spots. The Panthers and Dolphins will have a coin flip to decide the 8th and 9th spot in the draft and the Chiefs and Seahawks will do the same to determine the 11th and 12th spots in the draft. The winner will get the higher draft position.

That coin toss will be coming very early in the morning -- 6:00 a.m. (Arrowhead Time).

It will be used with a "specially minted coin" with one side featuring the team logo, according to a story in the Charlotte Observer that somehow got 722 words out of a coin flip.

This means the Chiefs won't be stuck with the incredibly difficult decision of heads or tails. Whew. If they did, though, tails is clearly the right answer.

So are you gonna be up for this tomorrow morning? I'll be three coffees deep by 6:00 a.m.
