KC Chiefs Head Back To Indy For 2012 NFL Combine

A couple weeks ago Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, GM Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel were in Indianapolis making the rounds on radio row as we awaited Super Bowl XLVI.

Yesterday the Chiefs brass returned to Indy to prepare for something different -- the 2012 NFL Combine. The special teamers, offensive linemen and tight ends arrived on Wednesday.

The group most people care about -- quarterbacks, receivers and running backs -- arrive today. This group is a who's who at the top of the draft -- Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Trent Richardson (who won't do drills) and Justin Blackmon (who may not run the 40-yard dash).

There will be some special teams drills tomorrow but things don't really get going drill-wise until Saturday. I've already informed Ms. Primetime that I need to "work" this weekend so we'll be talking draft all weekend. I haven't seen the press conference schedule but GM Scott Pioli usually talks at the Combine so be on the look out for that.
