Chiefs injury report: Eric Berry joins 4 others not practicing

The Chiefs are ill.

Jamie Squire

It's about that time of year.

Two Kansas City Chiefs players are on the injury report on Thursday due to an illness. I went through the change-of-season cold a few weeks ago and it was as awful as it ever is. If that's what they're going through, I feel for those Chiefs.

Here is your Thursday Chiefs injury report for Cleveland Browns week:

Previously: Wednesday injury report

Did not practice: Abe Elam, Brandon Flowers, Derrick Johnson, Ryan Lilja, Eric Berry

Allen Bailey was on this list yesterday but then he was sent to IR. Jeff Allen also didn't practice on Wednesday but he was a full participant today.

Berry is the new name here. According to Adam Teicher, he left due to illness. The Chiefs list his injury as hand/illness so I'm wondering the hand kept him limited yesterday and the hand/illness knocked him out today.

Limited practice: Branden Albert, Tamba Hali and Kendrick Lewis

Will Albert play? That's the big question with rookie Donald Stephenson filling in for him.

Full practice: Jeff Allen

Sounds like he's good to go. The Chiefs are calling it an illness as well.
