In news that completely stuns me, the Kansas City Chiefs have FIVE players land on the 2013 Pro Bowl roster. Those five Chiefs are Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali and Dustin Colquitt.
FIVE!
Wow. I did not see that coming at all. Charles was the only "lock" in my mind, with DJ possibly making it in.
These five Chiefs obviously earned their trip to the Pro Bowl. Charles and DJ, in particular, have been terrific. Colquitt is among the best punters inside-the-20 yard line. Berry has had a heck of a comeback from his ACL tear and Tamba is Tamba.
The biggest surprise on this list has to be Berry making it in, something I didn't expect. Looking at it in the context of him tearing his ACL just last year, his play this season has been impressive, especially that he has gotten so much better than where he was early in the season.
Congrats to the Pro Bowl Chiefs!
