The Kansas City Chiefs injury report is out and a whopping eight players did not practice. 13 players in all are listed on the injury report this week as the Chiefs prepare for the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Here's how the injury report shakes out:
Did not practice: Branden Albert, Jamaal Charles, Terrance Copper, Tamba Hali, Tyson Jackson, Ryan Lilja, Tony Moeaki, Donald Stephenson
Charles, Hali and Stephenson were all sent home early because they were sick, probably the flu. Assuming it's just the flu, they should probably be available on Sunday. Stephenson, in particular, is important with Albert's back issues.
Albert and Lilja have ongoing back issues. They could still be available to play.
Jackson is on the injury report with a foot injury. He was hurt in last week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Moeaki remains out with a head injury suffered in Week 15. He did not play last week. If he hasn't been put on IR, I'm guessing he has a shot to play.
Full practice: Jon Asamoah, Eric Berry, Abe Elam, Russ Hochstein, Rich Ranglin
These are all known injuries. They should all be available if they're practicing in full this early in the week.
